Tucked at
6-9 Seongdeokjeong 15-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul (1st floor), this is a classic Korean
nopo (old-school, long-running neighborhood spot) with a throwback
1980s vibe—run by a mother-and-daughter team. Think “grandma’s house energy,” except the mission is budget-friendly comfort food and the kind of snacky dishes (anju) that make you accidentally stay for hours.
If you’re exploring
Seongsu and want a local experience that isn’t just glossy cafés and camera-ready desserts, this is a satisfying detour. The mood is retro, homey, and unpretentious—perfect for travelers who want the real Seoul neighborhood dining scene in
Seongdong-gu.

3 months agoSeoul Restaurant It's delicious. I had eel and pork... but you have to order rice separately. The pork was spicier than I expected, but the vegetables were generous, so it went well together. I had a delicious meal.

5 months ago(Ttukdo Market, Seongsu Station, Seongsu-dong) A review after a year and a half of revisiting - the cockles were too fishy, the pork ribs were salty and dry, and the taste and quantity of the jeon were different (photos are from the first review) ——————————————————— A long-established restaurant where drinkers can enjoy their drinks. This was my first time at Ttukdo Market, but there's no need to go to Jongno or Euljiro. The price, taste, atmosphere, and cleanliness are all great. Highly recommend the cockle bibimbap and charcoal-grilled pork ribs!!! They even give you a lot of vegetables.
