This was one of the cheaper hanbok rental places. Some places charge over double and require you to leave your passport with them, which I'm not comfortable with. The higher priced places may have nicer hanbok without loose threads (but who's gonna notice that in photos). And they may spend more time on your hair. So if you want that extra attention to detail and absolutely picture perfect look, you should go elsewhere. If you want something cost effective and still decent, this is a good place. They were very quick in getting us dressed up and out the door. So we were able to get to the palace before it was too packed. They have a nice wooden door with hanging flowers which is great for photos. In fact, my photos in front of their shop looked better than the photos at the palace! Staff speak English. No deposit required. Don't need to leave your passport with them.

I visited this place and had a great experience renting a hanbok. The prices are very affordable, and the staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. As a bonus, you also get free makeup with your hanbok rental. The rental price is only 18,000 KRW for 2 hours, which I believe is one of the best deals in this area. If you're looking for a beautiful hanbok rental at a reasonable price, I highly recommend giving this place a try! I rented a hanbok here and was really satisfied. The price was very affordable, and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. Plus, you get free makeup with your rental. At 18,000 KRW for a 2-hour rental, I think this is one of the cheapest options in the area. If you want to rent a beautiful hanbok at a reasonable price, I highly recommend visiting! 👍👍👍👍

I was so impressed with this hanbok rental shop! I accidentally left my shared money bag in the rental shop's bag. After returning the hanbok for two hours, I went for a walk and looked for a restaurant. When I was about to pay, I realized I'd left my money bag in the shop's bag. I sprinted back to get it, thinking I wouldn't get it back, that someone must have taken it. But when I got back, a male employee (I'm not sure if he was the owner) saw me running, out of breath and looking panicked. He quickly grabbed the bag and gave it to me. He was so kind and kept it for me. I don't know how to thank him enough. Koreans are so nice! I was truly impressed. I highly recommend this shop to anyone visiting Korea. The hanbok is beautiful, they offer free hair styling, the service is excellent, and he even speaks some Thai (I'm Thai and can only count from 1 to 8!).
