Major Change in Award Night Rates
Earlier this month, there was a significant change in the cost of award nights at Choice Hotels. Previously, you could book award nights for between 6,000 and 35,000 points. However, this is no longer the case. The new update means that the minimum points required for an award night start at 8,000 points. This change impacts Choice Hotels globally, excluding the Asia-Pacific region where the rates can go up to 75,000 points per night.

All things considered, if you have upcoming stays and have been eyeing some Choice properties, now might be the best time to book. The award rates could rise even further in the near future.
